About Pialy

About the Founder

Dr. Pialy Ghanekar, Founder of Cell Savvy Group is a science communication mentor and consultant, researcher, and advocate for neurodiversity, climate science communication, and women in STEM. Trained as a virologist and immunologist, she brings deep subject expertise to her work and has built Cell Savvy Group around one clear belief: science should not stay locked in laboratories and classrooms, but should be communicated in ways that create real-world understanding and impact.

Through this venture, Pialy works with students, researchers, & science and medical professionals to strengthen their science communication skills, build confidence, and turn scientific knowledge into meaningful outcomes. Her work spans mentoring, consultations, training, community engagement, and outreach strategy, reflecting a commitment to both skill-building and public impact.

What makes her approach distinctive is the combination of scientific rigor and human-centred communication. She is deeply invested in helping people move from complex ideas to clear, compelling stories, whether they are writing, presenting, teaching, or building a science-based career.
